We are a small IFA firm who value our close long term relationships with our clients.
We like to ensure that all of our clients needs are catered for as they change throughout life – from the the purchase of their first home, protection and insurance requirements of the young family, where maximum cover for minimum cost is essential, through the middle years of saving for retirement, and then helping our retired clients get the best income from their life savings.
How we work. At our first meeting we will discuss your general financial situation, and seek to establish your needs and requirements.
Unless your enquiry is very specific (e.g. you simply need to find a mortgage) we do not normally make any firm recommendations during this first meeting. Instead we will write a report which will detail our conclusions and then at a subsequent meeting we will go through this report with you so that you can see our conclusions and how we have reached them.
Then in discussion with yourself, we will decide what to prioritise and act on, and what should be set aside for the time being.
Finally we process any business that needs to be arranged.
How we are paid.
Our costs for the first meeting is always covered by Thomas Crown IFA.
During this first meeting we can discuss the most suitable payment option for any work that we will do for you. This is a choice between commissions paid to us by the product provider of the policy you choose, or fees charged to you for work done by ourselves. Where any investment recommendation is made then only fee payments can be made.
